I offer various types of therapy with my top specialties being Eating Disorders, Weight Loss and Borderline Personality (BPD).

Other therapy offered includes Family support for loved ones with Mental Illness, Family conflict, Depression, Obsessive-Compulsive (OCD), Self Esteem, Life Coaching, Coping Skills, Self-Harming, Sexual Abuse, Women's Issues and Career Guidance.

How often will I need to attend therapy sessions?

The frequency of sessions depends on your individual needs and treatment plan. Typically, sessions are held weekly or bi-weekly at the start. I will work with you to determine the best schedule as you progress.

How long does therapy typically last?

The duration of therapy varies based on individual needs and goals. Some people may find relief in a few sessions, while others may benefit from longer-term therapy. I will work with you to develop a treatment plan that suits your needs.

Can I stop therapy at any time?

Yes, you can stop therapy at any time. Therapy is a voluntary process, and you have the right to discontinue whenever you feel it is necessary. However, it is often beneficial to discuss your decision with your therapist. I can help address any concerns you have and ensure that you have the support you need during the transition. Additionally, having a final session can provide closure and help you review the progress you've made.

What should I expect in my free 30 minute consultation?

In your consultation, we will likely touch on your background, current issues, and goals for therapy. You’ll learn more about me and how I can help you reach your goals. It's an opportunity for us to get to know each other and determine if this is a good fit for you.

What is the cost of therapy, and do you accept insurance?

My standard fee is $100 per hour. I offer a range of payment options including Pay by ACH Bank transfer, Cash, e-transfer, Cheque. Please contact me to discuss fees and insurance coverage, and I can help determine the best payment plan for you.

Will our sessions confidential?

Yes, therapy is confidential. There are exceptions, such as if there is a risk of harm to yourself or others, which will be explained during your first session.

How do I choose the right therapist for me?

Do I have to come in person?

I offer sessions in person and online via Zoom. You can choose what you are most comfortable with.
